ND Drought Conditions Stablizing

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s drought conditions are stabilizing after a wetter, cooler week in the state. The U.S. Drought Monitor map published yesterday showed conditions hadn’t changed from the previous week. Just under 18-percent of North Dakota is in exceptional drought, the worst of the four categories. Nearly 60-percent of the state has extreme drought conditions, and the rest of the state except for the extreme southeastern corner is experiencing some form of drought.
