TC Energy Move To Pull Out Of Keystone XL Seen As Limit Effect

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota energy industry leaders are reacting after Keystone XL pipeline sponsor TC Energy pulled out of the project. Director of North Dakota Pipeline Authority Justin Krigstad says the move will have a limiting effect on future pipeline projects. Director of Regulatory and Public Affairs for the North Dakota Petroleum Council says companies will lose the incentive to plan similar projects. The Keystone XL pipeline was set to transport around 800-thousand barrels of heavy crude oil a day through Canada to Nebraska. It wasn’t set to pass through North Dakota.
