Man Arrested In Sioux Falls For Trying To Burn Pride Flag

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A man is facing charges after police saw him pull down a gay pride flag and try to burn it in downtown Sioux Falls. The incident happened Wednesday night in the 200-block of South Phillips Avenue. Police say the man walked by a business with a gay pride flag and took it down before pulling out a lighter and trying to burn the flag. The 24-year-old is charged with reckless burning and intentional damage to property.
