(Taipei) — A seven-year-old boy in Taiwan has died, more than two months after he was slammed to the mat 27 times during judo practice. He passed away earlier today after his parents had him taken off life support. He suffered severe brain hemorrhaging in April after a class when his classmate and his coach used him to practice their throws. The coach is in his late 60s and he’ll be charged with physical assault resulting in injury causing death. If found guilty he could face life in prison.
