Numerous Wildfires Out West Cause Smoky Air Here

Undated) — The National Interagency Fire Center says there are 80 large wildfires burning across the United States. One of the biggest is the Bootleg Fire in southern Oregon, which has consumed more than 298-thousand acres and destroyed close to 70 homes. Meanwhile, the Beckwourth Complex on the Sierra Mountain rage has made its way through over 105-thousand acres. It is 82-percent contained. The Fire Center says Montana leads the way with 18 large fires. One of the largest in Montana is the Roberston Draw along the Wyoming border with over 29-thousand acres charred. It is 85-percent contained.
