Oregon Firefighters Make Some Progress

(Undated) — Firefighters in southern Oregon are gaining some ground on the country’s largest wildfire. The Bootleg Fire is 30-percent contained after making its way through over 364-thousand acres. Meanwhile, the Beckwourth Complex fire on the Sierra Mountain range is 88-percent contained. It has burned over 105-thousand acres in Northern California. The Fire Center says Montana leads the way with 18 large fires. One of the largest in Montana is the Roberston Draw along the Wyoming border with over 29-thousand acres charred. It is 85-percent contained.
