Strong Second Quarter Expected

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota tax officials are expecting a strong second quarter economically. State Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger says retail sales were up along with several other sectors. Higher building material costs and increased demand for new homes and an increase in oil activity have also contributed to an economic uptick. Numbers are expected to be finalized later this week.
