$300K Grant For Carbon Capture Education Approved

(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Industrial Commission has approved a 300-thousand dollar grant for carbon capture education. The money will allow Bismarck-based company AE2S Communications to develop a strategy to inform the public about capturing and using greenhouse gases. Some North Dakota lawmakers oppose the grant, citing concerns it will be used to promote carbon dioxide pipelines, including the controversial Summit Carbon Solutions project.
