(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakotans are remembering the terrorist attacks that happened 20 years ago on September 11th. More than 100 people gathered with state and National Guard leaders Saturday to honor North Dakotans who have died in the attacks and in the war on terror that has followed. Governor Doug Burgum, U.S. Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer, and North Dakota National Guard Adjutant General Al Dohrmann joined others to honor the fallen. The event was held at the Memorial to the Fallen in the Global War on Terrorism outside Fraine Barracks.
