Badlands National Park Receives Grant For Visitor Center

(Rapid City, SD) — Badlands National Park is receiving a grant to build a new visitor center. The Helmsley Charitable Trust is giving over three-million dollars for the project. Park officials say the new center will include modern conveniences and serve as a “launching point for the park.” The donation comes at a time when America’s national parks are busier than ever since the pandemic started.
