AG Announces Bristol-Myers Squibb Settlement

(Pierre, SD) — Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg says South Dakota is one of several states to reach a settlement with Bristol-Myers Squibb. The settlement reaches an agreement on allegations that the company overcharged the state’s Medicaid program for drugs. The United States District Court in eastern Pennsylvania initiated the investigation into the overcharges. The settlement also resolves allegations that the company underpaid drug rebates that they owed the states involved in the lawsuit.
