Twins Split Double-Header With Indians

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins and Indians traded wins in yesterday’s double-header. The Twins dropped game one of the day after giving up two runs in the top of the seventh during a 3-1 loss. Joe Ryan gave up a Bradley Zimmer home run in the fifth that tied the game. Ryan exited the game after being hit in the wrist by a line drive in the top of the sixth. He gave up just one run in five innings, and x-rays revealed no structural damage after the game. The Twins took the second game 6-3 after scoring four runs in the fourth inning. Ryan Jeffers finished game two with three hits, a home run, and four RBI. Minnesota sends Griffin Jax to the mound as the series continues at Target Field tonight.
