(Fargo, ND) — A woman is claiming that a move to virtual meetings by the Fargo School Board is meant to silence the public. Alexis Scott spoke at yesterday’s virtual meeting, saying that the board includes “a very entitled group of leaders” who “discussed ways to silence people that didn’t agree with them.” A motion to recommend, rather than mandate, masks was postponed until the board’s September 28th meeting. The board says meetings were moved online because some people refused to wear masks.
