Injuries Mount For Vikings Ahead Of Week Two Game

(Eagan, MN) — While Patrick Peterson is eager to face his former team on Sunday, he may be without some of his defensive teammates. Four Vikings players did not participate in practice yesterday. Linebacker Anthony Barr and cornerback Harrison Hand were out for a second straight day, while linebacker Eric Kendricks and defensive end Everson Griffen were added to the injury report for the first time yesterday. Linebacker Nick Vigil was a limited participant, meaning all three starting linebackers could miss Sunday’s game against Arizona. Left-tackle Christian Darrisaw remains a limited participant, so back-up Rashod Hill will likely have to try to slow down Cardinals pass-rusher Chandler Jones, who had five sacks last week against Tennessee.
