(Glendale, AZ) — Greg Joseph missed a 37-yard potential game-winning field goal as time expired in the Vikings 34-33 loss to the Cardinals in Arizona. Minnesota took a 20-7 lead in the second quarter before allowing the Cardinals to take a one point lead at the half. The Vikings intercepted two passes from Kyler Murray, with one to Nick Vigil going for six at the beginning of the third quarter. Kirk Cousins passed for 244 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover, and he led the Vikings into field goal territory on the final drive of the game to set up Joseph’s miss. Dalvin Cook rushed for 131 yards on 22 carries. On defense, Danielle Hunter sacked Murray three times. After the game, the Vikings had to switch planes before heading back to Minneapolis because their original plane was damaged. Minnesota is now 0-and-2.
