Four-Run Fifth Propels Twins To Victory

(Minneapolis, MN) — Nick Gordon hit a three-run home run to cap a four-run fifth inning during Minnesota’s 7-2 win over Toronto at Target Field. Gordon and Mitch Garver each finished the night with three hits. Michael Pineda allowed two runs in five innings to improve to eight-and-eight. Ralph Garza Jr. retired all four batters he faced to earn his first career save. The Twins have won three consecutive games and send Bailey Ober to the mound tonight against former Twin Jose Berrios.
