Wild Falter Late In Second Preseason Loss

(Denver, CO) — Minnesota gave up three third-period goals in a 6-4 preseason loss to the Avalanche at the Pepsi Center. Mats Zuccarello assisted on three of the Wild’s four goals. Adam Beckman, Kevin Fiala, Ryan Hartman, and Mason Shaw all scored for Minnesota. Cam Talbot saved 22 of the 24 shots he faced before Andrew Hammond took over. Before the game, the Wild cut their training camp roster down to 34 players. Minnesota hosts Colorado on Monday.
