National American University Accused Of Hiding Assets

(Rapid City, SD) — Rapid City-based National American University is being accused of hiding assets from creditors. Minnesota Office Plaza says NAU rented space for a Roseville campus starting in 2000 before defaulting on its rent. The owners of the plaza say NAU sold real estate in Rapid City to Park West to hide assets when they moved to collect a judgment of two-point-three-million in rent they was owed. Park West is controlled by the company NAU used to rent the space and by NAU President and CEO Ronald Sharp and board chairman Robert Buckingham.
