Vikings Try To Right The Ship In NFC North Clash

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Vikings are trying to get back on track when they host the winless Lions on Sunday at US Bank Stadium. The Vikings struggled to move the football in a 14-7 loss to Cleveland last week. Minnesota only gained 255 yards in the loss, their lowest output since week two of 2020. It’s the Vikings first time going up against first-year Lions head coach Dan Campbell, who played tight end for the Cowboys when Mike Zimmer was the team’s defensive coordinator between 2003 and 2005. Minnesota has a seven-game winning streak against Detroit. Dalvin Cook, Ihmir Smith-Marsette, and Michael Pierce all missed practice for Minnesota yesterday, but Anthony Barr was a full participant for the second straight day as he tries to play for the first time since week two of 2020.
