(Minneapolis, MN) — Greg Joseph hit a 54-yard field goal as time expired to give the Vikings a 19-17 win over the Lions at US Bank Stadium. Detroit recovered an Alexander Mattison fumble at the 20-yard-line with under two minutes to play in the game. The Lions scored three players later and had a successful two-point conversion to go up 17-16 with 37 seconds remaining in the game. Kirk Cousins completed three passes to get Minnesota into field goal range and set up Joseph’s game-winner. Cousins passed for 275 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Minnesota, and Mattison finished 153 total yards and a receiving touchdown. The Vikings are third in the NFC North with a 2-and-3 record.
