(Undated) — The first snowstorm of the season is moving into the Northern Rockies and Northern Plains with heavy snow and fierce winds. Driving conditions are hazardous and winter storm warnings are out for parts of Montana, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming. Those states could get one to two feet of snow, pushed by strong winds out of the northwest. Forecasters say the storm is likely to spread into eastern Montana and the western Dakotas today. Along with all that snow and wind, record low temperatures are possible.
