Eriksson Ek Fuels Wild Comeback

(St. Paul, MN) — Joel Eriksson Ek scored the game-winning goal in overtime to complete a hat trick in a 6-5 Wild win over the Jets in Minnesota’s home opener. The Wild scored two goals in the last five minutes of regulation to tie the game at five. Eriksson Ek’s second goal was the equalizer with under a minute left. Alex Goligoski, Marcus Foligno, at Mats Zuccarello also scored for Minnesota. The Wild have won their first three games of the season, and they’ll try to make it four in a row at home on Saturday against the Ducks.
