About Half Of North Dakota Corn Harvest In

(Washburn, ND) — Agriculture officials say about half of North Dakota’s corn harvest is in. The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported yesterday that 42-percent of the state’s corn crop had been harvested. An updated drought monitor shows much of the state is still experiencing moderate to severe drought, which is a big improvement from earlier in the growing season. Producers say they are a little behind last year but they are happy to have a crop to harvest.
