ND Drought Conditions Improving, Wildfire Activity Diminishing

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s drought conditions are improving dramatically. Widespread precipitation in the state this week also diminished wildfire activity. The majority of western and central North Dakota has been upgraded to severe drought from the worst category of exceptional drought. Much of easter North Dakota is now listed as experiencing “abnormally dry” conditions.
