Wild Fall To Preds In First Loss

(St. Paul, MN) — The Wild have suffered their first loss of the season. Minnesota gave up three first period goals in a 5-2 setback to the Predators at the Xcel Energy Center. Nick Bjugstad and Nico Sturm each scored in the losing effort. Kaapo Kahkonen saved 24 of the 29 shots he faced in his first start of the season. The Wild are now 4-1-and-0, and they’ll go back on the road to take on Vancouver tomorrow.
