Timberwolves Lose First Game

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to 2-and-1 after a 107-98 loss to the Pelicans at the Target Center. The Wolves shot under 35-percent from the field in the loss, and they were out-rebounded 60 to 41. Karl-Anthony Towns led Minnesota with 32 points, while Anthony Edwards poured in another 28. The Wolves head to Milwaukee to take on the reigning NBA champs tomorrow.
