Flags Lowered To Half-Staff In Honor Of Former SD Gov. Farrar

(Pierre, SD) — Flags are flying at half-staff today in honor of South Dakota’s 24th governor, Frank Farrar. He passed away yesterday in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 92. Governor Kristi Noem has ordered flags to remain at half-staff statewide until the day of Farrar’s interment. Those arrangements are expected to be announced in the coming days. Farrar died six years, to the day, after his wife, Former First Lady Patricia Farrar.
