(Pierre, SD) — The 48th annual South Dakota Emergency Medical Services Association Conference is all wrapped up. Hundreds of South Dakota first responders attended the event over the weekend in Pierre. Activities included opportunities to buy new equipment and merchandise, to attend training sessions, and to meet and greet other first responders. SD EMS Conference Chairman Kevin Heath says the event is a lot like a family reunion. Governor Kristi Noem and Lieutenant Governor Larry Rhoden attended a listening session Friday morning.
