Retired Judges Panel Wants More Info On Noem’s Airplane Use, Nepotism Allegations

(Pierre, SD) — A panel of retired judges is asking for more information about Governor Kristi Noem’s use of state-owned airplanes and allegations of nepotism. The four-member Government Accountability Board voted yesterday to send two of three complaints about Noem back to state Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg for more details. Claims are being made that Noem used state-owned airplanes for personal and political uses. She is also accused of using her office to pressure the executive director of the South Dakota Appraiser Certification Program to grant her daughter an appraiser’s license.
