Woman From North Dakota Dies From Injuries After Being Hit By A Car Over The Weekend

(Nashville, TN) — Authorities say a woman from North Dakota who was struck by a car over the weekend in downtown Nashville has died. On Monday, officials confirmed that 52-year-old Kathy Vasichek of North Dakota died from injuries sustained after falling into the travel lane on Demonbreun Street. Police say Vasichek was arguing with her husband, 52-year-old Jason Vasichek, around 12:45 a.m. when they were both hit by a car driven by 41-year-old Torie Davis. Mr. Vasichek remains in the hospital in stable condition, and Davis is facing charges of driving on a suspended license and not having insurance.
