SDHP DUI Checkpoint Nets Nearly Two Dozen DUI Arrests

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Nearly two dozen people are facing DUI charges after being netted at a Sioux Falls checkpoint operated by the South Dakota Highway Patrol. Just over 50 people total were arrested at the checkpoint set up Friday night and early Saturday morning on I-229 at the Cliff Avenue exit. SDHP stopped 15-hundred cars at the checkpoint as part of an enforcement effort to discourage drinking and driving.
