ND DOH Receives 18-Thousand Pediatric Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Doses

(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Department of Health says it has received 18-thousand of the newly approved pediatric COVID-19 vaccine. The FDA has authorized emergency use of the vaccine for children between five and eleven-years-old. NDDoH Immunization Program Director Molly Howell says healthcare providers are in the process of “educating staff and updating protocols.” Howell says vaccination of children will begin as early as this week.
