ND Commerce Groups Say Vaccine Mandates Could Worsen Workforce Shortage

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota commerce groups say President Biden’s vaccine mandate could make worker shortages worse. The mandate requires workers at companies employing more than 100 people to be fully vaccinated by January 4th. Those that don’t receive the vaccine will have to undergo weekly testing and wear a mask on the job. Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC says there are about 34-hundred open jobs in the area and the mandate could cause that number to go up.
