More Than 400 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in South Dakota

(Pierre, SD) — State health officials say South Dakota has recorded another 401 COVID-19 cases, bringing the state’s total case count to 157-thousand-396. No new deaths have been reported. Right now, there are 186 people hospitalized by the virus. As of yesterday, 68 percent of all residents 12 years of age an older have received at least one shot of the vaccine. A little more than 58 percent of the state’s population is fully vaccinated.
