(Pierre, SD) — Supporters of a proposed constitutional amendment for Medicaid expansion turned in more than 33-thousand signatures to place the issue on next November’s ballot. The group called South Dakotans Decide Health submitted its signatures yesterday morning at the Secretary of State’s office. Another group that’s also pushing for Medicaid expansion in the state — Dakotans for Health — says it’s still collecting signatures and will turn them in under the initiative measure process.
