Grant Awarded To Rapid City Native American Group To Address Vaccine Hesitancy

(Rapid City, SD) — A grant is being awarded to a Rapid City Native American group to be used to address COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. National nonprofit IllumiNative gave the Wotakuye Mutual Aid Society in Rapid City 30-thousand dollars to help Native American communities overcome COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. IllumiNative is a native, woman-led organization that is awarding 13 grants as part of its For the Love of Our People campaign.
