Nearly A Dozen Semis Tip After High Winds Hit State

(Pierre, SD) — Nearly a dozen semis are wrecked after strong winds hit South Dakota’s highways. A high wind warning continues today with gusts up to 70 miles per hour in the western and central parts of the state. Winds in Eastern South Dakota could reach 60 miles per hour. The wind advisory will continue through Sunday with reduced visibility expected on roads.
