Wolves Blow Another Fourth Quarter Lead

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Timberwolves led by five with just over three minutes left in regulation, but they couldn’t finish in a 99-96 loss to the Suns at the Target Center. D’Angelo Russell missed a three-pointer with five seconds to play that would have given Minnesota the lead, and Anthony Edwards turned the ball over to Phoenix after coming up with the offensive rebound. Karl-Anthony Towns had 35 points and 13 rebounds, and Russell added 22 points. The 4-and-8 Wolves host the Kings tomorrow.
