Twins May Trade Buxton Without Extension

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins are reportedly open to trading center fielder Byron Buxton if they can’t sign him to a long-term extension in the offseason. Buxton’s camp rejected a seven-year extension worth 80-million dollars over the offseason. The Athletic’s Dan Hayes and Ken Rosenthal says the club is considering all of its options and continues to explore potential trades. Buxton hit .306 with 19 home runs in 61 games for the Twins this past season.
