Initial Funding For West-To-East Pipeline Approved

(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Legislature is moving forward with initial funding for a west-to-east natural gas pipeline. The 150 million dollars will go towards construction of the pipeline that would start in the Bakken and travel to the eastern part of the state. North Dakota Pipeline Authority Director Justin Kringstad says the pipeline could provide up to 250 million cubic feet of natural gas to the Red River Valley for heating and agriculture projects.
