Noem Helping To Recruit Healthcare Workers

(Pierre, SD) — Governor Kristi Noem is helping with recruitment of healthcare workers in South Dakota. The state Department of Labor and Regulation reports more than 28-thousand job openings in the state, with half being in healthcare. Noem and three leading healthcare systems are part of a newly revealed ad campaign aimed at recruiting medical professionals. The governor remarks in one ad that there are not enough nurses to care for patients in the state. Sioux Falls-based marketing and advertising agency Lawrence and Schiller is behind the ads.
