Tribal Nations Attend White House Summit

(Rapid City, SD) — Tribal nations from South Dakota are part of a White House summit. The summit was the first held since 2016 and focused mostly on healthcare. President Biden said earlier this week that tribal lands are consistently underfunded for healthcare. Great Plains Tribal Chairmen’s Health Board CEO Jerilyn Church says Native healthcare funding needs to be addressed in the future.
