Judge Strikes Down Vaccine Mandate For Healthcare Workers In Nine States

(Undated) — A judge is rejecting President Biden’s vaccine mandate for healthcare workers in South Dakota and nine other states. Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt led a lawsuit that included South Dakota, Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas, Iowa, Wyoming, Alaska, North Dakota, and New Hampshire. The judge in the case found that regulations handed down by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service this month were issued improperly. The ruling states the agency didn’t get approval from Congress to mandate vaccinations for health care workers.
