Bismarck State College Receiving COVID Relief Funds For Expansion Project

(Bismarck, ND) — Bismarck State College is set to receive 38 million in federal COVID relief funds for an expansion project. Governor Doug Burgum signed a law yesterday allocating the money to the college. BSC President Dr. Doug Jensen says the funds will allow the school to expand into a polytechnic institute, which will offer more job focused educational opportunities. The plan was initiated in 2018 by a vote of the state Board of Education. Construction is set to begin in 2022 and finish by 2024.
