(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings may be getting a player back on their diminished defensive line. Defensive tackle Michael Pierce was designated to return from injured reserve and practiced with the team yesterday. Pierce hasn’t played in a game since he injured his elbow in a week four loss to Cleveland. Mike Zimmer says he hopes that Pierce will be able to play on Sunday against Detroit. Meanwhile, Dalvin Cook and Anthony Barr were among five Vikings to miss practice with injuries yesterday.
