Natural Gas Prices Down, Still Up From Last Year

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The South Dakota Public Utility Commission says natural gas customers can expect to see their bills drop slightly in the coming months. Chairman Chris Nelson tells “Dakota News Now” if wholesale natural gas prices continue on a downward trend, they should be reflected on bills after the first of the a year. Despite the drop, MidAmerican Energy says their customers are seeing about a 74-percent increase since this time last year.
