ND Medicaid Changes To Increase Access To Behavioral Health Services

(Bismarck, ND) — Changes to North Dakota’s Medicaid program are set to increase access to in-home and community-based behavioral health services for children and adults. North Dakota Department of Human Services is administering the funds, with much of the money going towards building a better network of service providers for mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and brain injuries. The NDDHS will be lowering the eligibility assessment score to allow more individuals to qualify for services, as well as making it possible for more providers to enroll to provide supported training, education, and employment services.
