Short-Handed Wolves Fall To Knicks


(Minneapolis, MN) — A Timberwolves comeback fell short in a 96-88 loss to the Knicks at Target Center. The Wolves trailed by as many as 17 points in the first half, but took a brief lead in the third quarter before faltering down the stretch. Minnesota played without four of its five starters, and Malik Beasley led the team with 20 points. The T-Wolves have lost three of four to drop to 16-and-18. They visit the Jazz on Friday.
