ND Senate Majority, Minority Looking Back Looking Back, Projecting Forward

(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Senate Majority and Minority leaders are not running for re-election and are looking back on 2021 while describing their outlook for the future. Minority Leader Joan Heckman’s district is being eliminated because of the redistricting process. She says she’s proud of the work Democrats have done and hopes they can make a bigger dent in the Senate population in the next election. Senate Majority Leader Rich Wardner says he’s notice a lack of civility and respect in politics and hopes the Legacy fund continues to be prioritized.
