SDSU Students Team Up With LifeScape To Develop Power Chair

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Engineering students at South Dakota State University are teaming up with LifeScape to develop a power chair. The prototype wheelchair would help folks get through the ice and the snow. Students tells “Dakota News Now” they’re trying to make a wheelchair that can handle at least six inches of powder. LifeScape is a non-profit organization that helps adults and children in Sioux Falls regain their independence through innovation.
